Access Navi-xtreme content from Boxee.

Description:

Access Navi-xtreme content from Boxee. Navi-X provides a directory of user-submitted lists of TV and Movies found around the internet.

Review:

You can find pretty much any type of video you are looking for with Navi-X. The one problem that I have is that many times the videos do not play smoothly. While this is not the fault of Navi-X (they only point to videos stored elsewhere on the web), it does make for viewing some videos extremely difficult. Other people though have reported great success so I would suggest trying for yourself to see the results you get.

Update:

It appears as though there are still problems with main Navi-X repository address. If you are having difficulties with that repository, try the repository http://dir.fuzzthed.com instead.

Additional Info

  • Working: Yes
  • Repository Address: http://navi-x.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/boxee
  • Repository Name: The Navi-X Repository for Boxee
  • Developer Website: http://www.navi-x.org

While I am here, Could someone please point me to information that will help get Pandora running on my Boxee Box as a 3rd party app. Recently purchased my Boxee box and have Navi-X working brilliantly (thanks guys) but Pandora is nolonger part of the standard install. Anyone still have this app working as a 3rd party app?

Just got my Boxee Box about a week ago. After reading up on things I came to find that the Navi-X app was pretty cool.

And yes, it IS pretty cool. I found the complete 7 series run of ST:TNG, the first(and only?) season of American Horror Story and countless others bookmarked for later viewing. I find if you stream outside of peak hours, it's almost flawless. Some buffering depending on the source (BBC1 in the UK for instance) and time of day.

It drastically adds to the functionality of the Boxee Box. I'm as happy as a clam up in here!

great lists of videos, but anyone I try to stream gives me 'PROCESSOR ERROR - Coud not find packed javascript in page source' .. error.

Makes NAVI pretty useless on Boxee-Box.
